Galena tracks cooperative aircraft from their radio broadcasts.

How Galena works
Galena receives FAA Remote ID, ADS-B, and UAT broadcasts from cooperative aircraft. Athos compares each broadcast against the identifiers the customer has marked as trusted in their tenant. When Chorus, Soundryx's acoustic sensor, hears an aircraft whose broadcast matches a trusted identifier, Athos suppresses the alert. Broadcasts from unrecognized identifiers are alerted like any other threat.

Availability
Galena sensors are available to civilian, law enforcement, and military customers in the United States and allied countries.
Export control
Soundryx provisionally classifies Galena as ECCN 5A992.c under the U.S. Export Administration Regulations. Galena's aviation sensing is receive-only, listening to unencrypted civil broadcasts, with no transmission, jamming, or decryption capability. Classification requests are pending.
Galena-XL is the variant of Galena intended for integration into fire control systems by customers with mitigation authority.
Privacy
Galena receives radio broadcasts that aircraft already transmit publicly: FAA Remote ID, ADS-B, and UAT. These broadcasts are designed to be received by anyone.
