Share threat alerts with Cadre
Cross-customer alerting protocol
Cadre lets you exchange privacy-preserving threat alerts with other Soundryx customers.

How Cadre works
Cadre is…
- opt-in. Cadre is disabled by default and can only be enabled by the administrator of an Athos tenant.
- bidirectional. Your tenant only receives Cadre alerts from customers you are configured to send alerts to. Unidirectional sharing with law enforcement is a separate opt-in, described below.
- anonymous. Other than the rough location of a detected threat, no customer information is shared as part of a Cadre alert.
- automatic. Alerts are shared automatically between customers that have Cadre enabled.
Deployment options
Cadre is included with Athos at no cost for the customers listed under Availability.
Availability
Cadre is unavailable to the following customers:
- customers running out-of-date hardware or software
- customers who only have Developer Kits or Flyaway Kits
- customers who do not have any working Galena sensors
- government or military customers where the law forbids them from sharing collected data
- customers in certain jurisdictions
- customers with sensors located in areas that trigger high false positives, such as airports or military testing grounds
Privacy
When a customer enables Cadre, the following information may be automatically shared with other Soundryx Cadre users:
- FAA Remote ID detections from drones with serial numbers not recognized as trusted by the customer's tenant
- ADS-B and UAT aircraft
- high-confidence acoustic detections for aircraft
The following information is not shared with other Cadre users, even when Cadre is enabled:
- FAA Remote ID detections of drones trusted by the customer
- Low-confidence acoustic detections of aircraft
- Any non-aircraft acoustic detections, such as for gunshots
Sharing with civilians
Soundryx does not share Cadre alerts to civilians who do not participate in bidirectional sharing.
Sharing with law enforcement
In some jurisdictions, civilian customers of Soundryx can unidirectionally share alerts with participating law enforcement or military organizations in their jurisdictions, without requiring those organizations to bidirectionally share alerts of their own. Civilian customers must opt in separately to sharing alerts with law enforcement where available.
For how this fits the rest of the system, see Product Privacy.
Export control
Cadre is an optional feature in Athos, Soundryx's mission-planning backend. Read the Export control section of the Athos page for more information.
