Product Privacy

This page summarizes the privacy properties of Soundryx products. The Privacy section of each product page governs that product.

Audio

Chorus sensors collect audio with an onboard microphone array and classify one-second chunks on the device. The only information transmitted is event records: timestamps, class labels, confidence scores, bearing estimates, health data, and sensor identifiers. Sensors do not store or transmit raw audio, transcribed speech, or derived features such as spectrograms.

Radio frequency (RF)

Galena receives unencrypted civil aviation broadcasts: FAA Remote ID, ADS-B, and UAT. Sensors receive Wi-Fi and Bluetooth broadcasts because FAA Remote ID transmits over those bands, and each sensor compares nearby identifiers against a site baseline to detect whether it has been moved; these records persist only in the Athos backend. Sensors do not decrypt radio communications, do not spoof, and do not jam.

Vision

Chorus and Galena sensors do not capture photos or video.

Data

Air-gapped tenants. Soundryx collects no data from air-gapped customer deployments except the certificate signing request when onboarding a new Athos tenant.

Fine-tuning. At a customer’s request, Soundryx may collect audio and RF data on-site for the purpose of finetuning Earsight and other Soundryx AI models. Data collected for fine-tuning is kept confidential within Soundryx.

Cross-customer alerting. Cadre is Soundryx’s product that allows geographically neighboring customers to automatically alert each other. See the Privacy section of the Cadre product page for more information on Cadre privacy.
